rehabilitation and therapy for nearly all soccer-related injuries. captain and academic all-american on fresno state’s soccer team, jason was looking forward to a professional soccer career, which was sidelined when he blew out not one but both knees. following his own surgery and rehabilitation, he rekindled his childhood dreams of becoming a physical therapist. jason’s academic and professional accomplishments include: • magna cum laude bs exercise science • cum laude masters of physical therapy • doctorate in physical therapy • graduate of folsom long-term course in manual therapy • board certified orthopedic specialist • research: csuf 21st annual symposium • credentialed coordinator of clinical education • california physical therapy association member • american physical therapy association member • csu fresno alumni association life member after graduating magna cum laude with a degree in exercise physiology, jason earned a cum laude degree from the fresno state pt master’s program. in addition, jason was honored with the stuart katzman award for excellence. jocelyn became a board-certified orthopedic specialist (ocs) after completing her doctor of physical therapy (dpt) education at the university of southern california in may 2008 where she also received the distinguished golden cane award for excellence upon graduation. she has practiced in a variety of settings including an outpatient private clinic in beverly hills, children’s hospital los angeles for children with acute pediatric disorders, and home health. jocelyn has served as an adjunct clinical faculty member for usc in her former dpt program and hopes to continue her teaching within local university and school programs in the future. jocelyn has a passion for working with athletes of all ages across all sports and activities. her main rehab specialties include overhead athlete overuse disorders of the shoulder and elbow, baseball and softball pitching/throwing injuries, temperomandibular joint (tmj) disorders, vestibular disorders (bppv), and pathologies of the hand/wrist, hip, and ankle/foot. when she’s not in the clinic treating patients you can find her on the mat practicing hot yoga, hiking yosemite with her husband, toddler, and 2 dogs, improving her foodie status, or traveling the globe. jocelyn is a member of the california physical therapy association (cpta) and american physical therapy association’s (apta) orthopedic and sports sub-sections. she has served on the san joaquin valley district pt association board as chair, vice chair, and/or representative since 2013. paul received his bachelor of science from california state university, fresno in 1996, having graduated magna cum laude. he received his master of physical therapy, also from california state university, fresno in 1998. paul has worked in a variety physical therapy settings during his nearly 20 year career as a physical therapist. these settings include acute care hospital-based inpatient and outpatient settings, corporate and private-owned outpatient orthopedic settings, and home health. prior to joining the staff of physiomotion in 2016, paul and his wife staci owned their own private orthopedic outpatient physical therapy practice in their home town of madera for twelve years. in addition to having completed multiple continuing education courses over the years, paul completed the year-long folsom manual therapy course in 2005, and successfully completed the orthopedic clinical specialty exam in 2007. paul is an avid road cyclist and mountain biker. he has completed the climb to kaiser 3 times, and is a california triple crown winner, having completed 4 double centuries in 2012. in addition to cycling, paul enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including snow skiing, wakeboarding, hunting and fishing, and abalone diving. paul continues to live in madera with his wife of 23 years, staci, and his two sons ryan and jake. get well. stay well.
